Transitions Guest Mix on Kiss 100

Hernán Cattáneo · 25 July 2003

Hernán Cattáneo's July 2003 guest hour on John Digweed's Kiss 100 show: eight records from Björk and Robert Owens to Mary J. Blige in a Luke Fair remix, caught as his South American sound reached a much wider audience. A Kiss 100 guest hour might seem a small snapshot, but 2003 was an important moment for Cattáneo's wider audience. The track choices reach beyond the usual dark-progressive shorthand, and the remix credits tell as much of the story as the featured singers. This is a good starting point before the longer international sets and compilations that made his reputation.
