Everything on The Mix Archive stays free to read, with listening sent back to the original platforms. If you enjoy the site and want to help cover the time spent digging, researching and writing, the collector CDs below are one way to support it. No subscription. No members-only bollocks.
The Mix Archive isn't going behind a paywall. The Archive, DJ Profiles, Features, charts and collector guides are here to be read without a subscription, and the music itself stays on the legitimate platforms that already host it. I'm not interested in charging somebody a monthly fee just to read me going on about a Sasha mix from 1998.
Support simply helps justify the time that goes into the boring bits nobody sees: digging for sets, checking dates and context, finding usable images, fixing broken links and writing something more useful than two paragraphs of recycled press-release bollocks. If the site keeps growing, that's where the work is.
If you'd rather not spend anything, that's absolutely fine. Dig through the Archive, send somebody a page they might actually enjoy, or have a look through the Collector's Shelf. Using the site is the point. Anything beyond that is a bonus.
