Max Graham: Airtight, Transport 4 and the Progressive Years

Max Graham's public identity was eventually built by his trance work, which hides the four or five years when he was one of the more forceful progressive house DJs around. This profile is mostly about those years: Ottawa, Airtight, Transport 4 and a 2002 radio hour with an early version of Crank. Airtight is an obvious starting point, but it shouldn't be the finish. His early-2000s DJ work could be much tougher than that single track suggests, and Transport 4 sits in a different place from the later trance career. The Kiss 100 Transitions guest hour is another useful checkpoint, with his own Crank appearing well before its eventual release.
