The Classic Chart
The first three from a Top 10 of classic progressive house and trance mixes I'd put in front of you before anything else on the site. If you're coming back to this era after fifteen years away, this is the shortcut. Not the biggest sellers, not a public vote, definitely not an algorithm — just the mixes that have earned the spot, reshuffled when something genuinely knocks one out.
Prefer the uplifting and harder side of the era? Explore the classic trance Top 10, imported without changing this chart.

The ranked Top 10 goes deeper in the Members Club, but the music itself doesn't need a subscription. These Mixcloud players and their archive pages are open to everyone.
Danny Rampling — Essential Mix (20 November 1993)
Before progressive house had settled into a formula, you could hear where the different strands were heading.
