Seaman at his most controlled. Buenos Aires CD2, from his 1999 Pacha set, pushes into darker progressive trance, with Planisphere, Christian West and twelve and a half minutes of Origin stretching the pressure out rather than chasing a cheap peak. The 1999 Buenos Aires release catches Seaman moving between progressive house and trance without treating either as a separate compartment. Christian West, Planisphere and Origin make sense in the longer flow, where repetition and small changes do the work. This is also a useful comparison with the subsequent Cape Town disc: same DJ, different balance of melody and pressure.
