DJ Dave Seaman: Renaissance, Mixmag and Global Underground

Dave Seaman connects more parts of British club music than almost anyone: Mixmag, early licensed mix CDs, Brothers in Rhythm's productions and remixes, Stress Records, and the Renaissance and Global Underground catalogues. His 1996 Essential Mix, his Renaissance discs and his Buenos Aires and Cape Town albums show a DJ with a producer's ear and a groove-first approach. Seaman's mixes are also a useful way to hear progressive house changing without pretending there was one clean handover from house to trance.
