Communicate (CD1)

Communicate marked a turn away from the widescreen storytelling of Northern Exposure. CD1 is darker and more club-focused, driven by clipped percussion, low-slung basslines and long blends that hold the tension rather than chase obvious peaks. Tracks from Trancesetters, Saints & Sinners, Trisco and Killahurtz place it firmly in the tougher progressive sound of 2000. Less dreamy than their earlier compilations, but more locked-in and direct.
